The "G" boys

Can I have some????

Who needs a doggie, when you have baby G to beg for scraps!! Ha! Actually, Big boy G was good this time at asking "Please, mommy--he wants a bite of my yogurt!" As baby G was standing at his chair trying to grab his spoon! Baby G was all too eager to get the bite, as you can see!! I thought it was too cute!! had to snap a picture.

It's play time!!

This is one of my favorite pics of my boys...... playing together...nicely...they really do love each other! Baby G is fascinated at his big brother...watching and grinning at everything he does.....except, of course, when he's being picked on!!

Well.......have you ever "lost" your child in your house, searched frantically for what seems like forever, had your heart skip a beat as you think your child is gone.........Well...... You might look behind the couch!!! tee hee! As innocently as he could, Big boy G said "but I was just hiding in the jungle, mommy!" I just couldn't resist grabbing my camera, and big boy G put a big grin on his face.....as he thought he was pretty funny!

pics of my boys!

I just love the one of big boy "G" hugging is brother!! So appropriate right now---take a look at baby G's face---I think the hug is a little tight--heehee. Brothers in the tub!! This was a rare shot of them sitting nicely together. Usually big boy G is dumping or splashing water all over baby G! Poor baby G--he's gonna be tough as nails! Baby G is quite a character, and oh what a temper he has now! He is the mischevious, sneaky one too! Watch out Big boy G as baby G gets bigger!

Ok...trying this again. For some reason my blog wouldn't post last time I tried it...with the same pictures....so...if there are double pictures --sorry!

These are late pictures from Christmas time! Finally! Some are from Christmas morning with Santa presents --one from Christmas at yaya's and pa pa's and one from the Coast at me me's and poppy's place. Enjoy! Big boy G just woke up baby G from his nap...so....gotta run!!

Ok, Ok.....I know....kinda late for Christmas pictures, but when you're working full time and a mommy of little ones....that's what happens!!! Some are of Christmas morning opening Santa gifts, one from Christmas with the Tapps drop jawed over a dinosaur animated toy, and one from the coast at his MeMe and Poppy's new house looking out the window with his cousins at the ocean and palm trees........

I'll try to be a tad more efficient at getting to the blog--at least the weekends! I'm home with a sick baby now, so a couple seconds to spare at naptime. Christmas was wonderful, and it was great to visit with family!!

Ok, Ok....I'm finally blogging...a little. No, NO...I haven't uploaded any pics from Christmas yet off my camera......although I've had great intentions!! I will soon, so this will have to tide Mrs. Mommy spice over (tee hee!)

This is actually from before December...November I think--at the G boys cousin's birthday party! They have two horses and a pony, and big boy G had the greatest time riding the pony! He would NOT let daddy hold onto hime "Let ME do it" he said. He was a brave little one, and I was proud of him! He's growing up so fast!

Christmas is the holiday that I look forward to ALL year long.....the unselfish acts of generous people helping those less fortunate, the peaceful feeling in the air, the lights, the decorations, the music, the getting together with family......I have always loved it all....BUT....nothing could have prepared me for this......

There is just something about experiencing the season of Christmas with your children that is impossible to describe. I thank God that I am fortunate enough to be able to experience this season with my children. It is the sparkle in their eyes over the simplest things....the lights, the music, the moving toys.....the joy. I have everything I have ever wished for....a loving family and two darling children. I have a warm house and food on my table and clothes on my back....and I don't lack any of my needs. I am blessed, and so I shall give back....even in some small way...someone that needs something this Christmas...not sure exactly what....maybe an angel from the tree at the mall......anyway....

This is baby G and big Boy G .........too much sweetness!! I just love those boys!!!!!

I hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas......(if I don't get around to my blog till after.).....I haven't even started shopping yet....will have to do it all in one day next Friday!! Blessings to all and happy new year!!

Ok...Ok.....FINALLY I get to uploading my "snow" pics to the blog!! It's a little late, but, here they are!! Big G was actually afraid to touch the "snow" (have to put in parenthesis because it was hardly classified as real snow! hee) and just walked around in it a little bit, then was in awe that his fingers were so cold!! THis is all we got at our house....not much...but it sure was cold!! ...especially for wimpy mommy!!!

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas.........Our first snow!!! yea!! No, no pictures of it yet, as my two munchkins are napping right now, but I will post some later of Big G in it if it's still going strong! These pics are a few recent ones of the boys. The ones of baby G were the first time he pulled up on his knees at the coffee table. I was looking for him, calling his name, then I saw his little chubby hands reach up to the table, then pull up his grinning face!!

The one of big boy G was him "fixing" his the new train with daddy! Daddy bought a train that goes around the Christmas tree, and Gavin is in AWE!!

YUMMY!!!!
I LOVE pumpkin pie!!! Big boy G had pumpkin pie for the first time.......can you tell if he liked it or not??? Daddy was full and happy after Thanksgiving dinner also.......so full he had to take a cat nap........
As you can tell....all was good with the family of the G boys...We had a GREAT Thanksgiving!!!!!!

We spent Thanksgiving this year with mommy's side of the family.....
Here are just some of my favorite pics.....I couldn't post them all! I love the fact that the kiddos are at an age that they can play together--we had a great time!! Big boy G discovered pumpkin pie this year at his Aunt "M"'s house as he was visiting with daddy's side of the family. As you'll see on the next pic.....he LOVED it!!

Thanksgiving.....
This is what it's all about....being thankful for our families, our health, our happiness.....being thankful that God has blessed us with all of these things. It's a time to put away our minor indifferences and focus on the important things. Although we may not always agree or get along, the important thing is that we have each other.....through everything, good and bad, we have our family to support us and love us unconditionally.
I think about all of the people who are not as fortunate.....who are beaten, neglected, hungry and lost. I wish I could help them all....especially the kids. Although I cannot, it makes me realize how fortunate I am to have clothes on my back, a warm home, food on my table, healthy kids, and a family that loves me. I am the richest person in the world because of that!! I am blessed!!
